Heeey guys
Sorry blog. I have not posted to you in a while. Here are some important updates on sundry items.
I survived that bad OS project, and consequently shaved my beard. It was very groaty. I would post a picture but I am in a computer cluster right now and my pictures are at home. OH WELL.

I am working on some software, or should I say softWEAR. You enter the weather for the day, and it tells you what to wear. It is very complicated, but will be a good thing for the world I think. You may be thinking to yourself, "I need no such software". Yeah, but think of those who do for a change!!! Tomorrow night I'm going to see B.J. Novak doing a comedy routine.

He is from the office, and hopefully it will be funny! The ticket cost me $5 since it is associated with the school.
SECRET RANDOM GAME I LIKE
I've been playing this game, Battle for Wesnoth.

It is a turn based strategy type game, and is 2-d. This describes just about everything I like anymore. Does that mean there is something wrong with me? Maybe I am stuck in the past.
Anyway, this game is free and you may want to try it out, if it sounds like your cup of tea. It kind of reminds of ogre battle mixed with Brick Wars.
I'd tell you more, but something smells gross in the cluster I am in. I think I need to get out of here.
Later blog.

Like actual blogging, you know, with a link and a comment

So several months ago Poster Child and Ryan North made this site describing how to make some pretty incredible Mario-Style Question Blocks, and putting them around outside.
Now several girls have done this in Ravenna and it's a big hoopla. This article describes it pretty well.
I for one am fairly uncertain that the staff reporter that wrote the above article ever played Mario Brothers, and somehow was trying to relate it to Grand Theft Auto in the typical journalist fashion with the sentence, "Five teenage girls from Portage County face potential criminal charges after attempting to play a real-life version of Super Mario Bros."
If I saw people playing real-life Super Mario Brothers I would probably expect it to result in more injuries resulting from jumping on each others heads, burn marks from stray fireballs, and perhaps even cars crashing into tanuki suited girls.
Maybe after the girls set up all the blocks, they were going to play a game on their new level.

Bill Nye Approves

Well, I had a fun break! I did pretty much nothing which was pretty much awesome. Today I found out that this week is going to be ridiculously busy. Oh well, I should have known.
I have been doing at least one crossword puzzle a day. I'm trying to get really good at it.
Here are some T.V. shows I no longer like:
1. 24
2. Family Guy
They are always the same thing and I for one am bored of it.
On the other hand here are some T.V. shows I like (which may or may not be dead):
1. Stella
2. Arrested Development
3. Battlestar Galactica

Oh yeah, there's Captain Adama.
Have you been watching Battlestar? Can you believe that season finale! Whoa!
Stella apparently did not get a second season. Man, too bad. That show was excellent. Oh well, the DVD will come out eventually.

Well, that's all for now I guess.

Meow Mix Clock

These Mr. Meow Wall clocks are being advertised during Adult Swim. It sings the Meow Mix song every hour and has moving eyes, mouth, and tail. It's certainly a good way of displaying the onset of insanity, but I'm not sure if it's really the Adult Swim demographic.

Gotcha!
There you are pesky headphones! Now you are on my head. No more hiding under scarves and hats!
Here is what I'm listening to maybe (if it works).
I feel kind of sorry for Steve Martin. The reviews for Pink Panther look sad. Then again maybe Steve Martin isn't funny. What was Steve Martin in that was funny? Hmm... people seem to like The Jerk. I never saw it. I saw Plains Trains and Automobiles though. That was decent and kind of funny, although the ending is more glurgy than anything else.
Steve Martin is supposed to be funny, right? I mean, people consider him to be funny, I think. Maybe he's just overrated? I don't know.
Anyway here is the best pun from the page of Google reviews of The Pink Panther: "Clouseau but no cigar". I think that gets a half point.
